Walk-scape: Ongoing research on Augmented Reality solutions for the built environment

Observation is a crucial step for developing urban design proposals. In fact, the visual component is often the sense that drives the design process. How to improve a conscious multi-sensory understanding of urban places? How to catch, interpret and communicate other sensory aspects beyond the visual one? How to depict and simulate present and future scenarios in a multi-sensory way? Which is the possible role of ICT tools and techniques in supporting a comprehensive and complex design process?
