Sun shading in Corso Como at 2007 state, before the building of Garibaldi Repubblica masterplan by Cesar Pelli.
The video is part of the Master thesis made by Valerio Signorelli and complement the video of the future state of the same place after the construction of the buildings defined in the masterplan.
The video shows an approximation of the sun-shade because the Orange I heliodon (also known as Pantheon Automatic Heliodon) is a point to point heliodon, where the movement between two points does not follow the path of the sun but simply it follows the shortest path. However, the student interpolated some points between the minimum and maximum position to increase the accuracy of the simulation and the result is visually interesting.
